AGE:  Kids entering Kindergarten to Grade Six

VBS is a fun and exciting week in the world of Kid’s Church! It is a time when everyone at MBC comes together to put on a week-long event for the children in our community. This is not a program designed just for the kids at MBC, it is a program for children throughout Martensville and area.

Held close to the end of the summer every year, VBS is an event that many children wait for with anticipation. Starting off with a celebration of music, the children are immediately caught up in the excitement of the event. After a few brief announcements, they split off into their age groups to participate in games, snacks, stories and crafts. When they join together again to sing and receive their prizes, they are excited about the events that have taken place and ready to come back again the next day.

Security is high during VBS.  Registration is mandatory and the parents are strongly urged to sign their child in and out every evening.

We want to see as many children come to VBS every year as often as possible. Many people are introduced to our church family and to Jesus through their children attending VBS.  This is an important and meaningful event for everyone at MBC and we want our community to be a part of it too.

VBS 2011 is well on it’s way to happening on August 15-19!  The name this year is Polar Power!   Kids will learn about the most important source of Power in life and have so much fun doing it!
