The Way

In the book of Acts, the Disciples waited for the Holy Spirit before they set out on mission. Jesus commanded them to wait until they were filled with power from on high. This was crucial. For us today, if we have given our lives to Jesus (being a disciple) then we are filled with the Holy Spirit and we rely on His power to work through us to effect life transformation in us and those around us.

Acts 11 is when the term “Christian” began to reference believers. This was when the church was planted in Antioch. Before this, they were referenced as those who followed “the Way”. We know that Jesus is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life”. As disciples of Jesus, we want to follow this way. We want to obey His commands to go and make disciples, baptizing them and teaching them all that He had commanded.

In this discipleship process, you will learn practical elements of our faith and learn to apply them to your life. We do not want this to be a “what to believe” or “why to believe” process. We want to show you how to live and grow in your faith.
